Copywriting is like breaking a Guiness World Record or searching for the perfect NYE fit. Invigorating, challenging, ever-changing, sometimes crazy and eternally awe-inspiring. As my first art medium, writing has always connected my mind to worlds that I may not have even touched, but could always envision and feel deeply.

With a hunger for a creatively fulfilling career and the opportunity to work on the extraordinary, I pivoted out of academia and eagerly into the world of advertising. At the height of the pandemic (2020), I started my own digital art brand, SPICECAMVISUALS; spearheading creative content creation for local brands while also selling my own artwork. I worked my way up to three years of agency experience, completing copywriting, strategy, and content creation projects for clients like National Geographic, Crypto.com, Tatyana Ali, and Indiana University. Specializing in social media content creation, web copy, email marketing, script writing, blog posts and video content, I’ve grown into a creative powerhouse and invaluable advertising asset (The future A’ja Wilson of Copywriting has a nice ring to it!). In 2024, I graduated from The One School!

Yep! Making magic with my favorite pen, phone, or laptop is my bread and butter, but I never stop making art for myself. Warning, I’m about to pop my collar a bit:

My work has been published by Demeter Press, and my Master’s Thesis has been downloaded over 7100 times globally! My digital art has been published by Malposition Magazine and Altiba-9 Magazine. In 2022, my digital art was featured in The Black Angel of History exhibit at Carnegie Hall (New York) and The Afrofuturism After Globalization/The Black Angel of History exhibit at Maison Internationale des Associations (Switzerland).
